[V8] Valve or Timing Belt Rattle?

Thanks for the responses guys. The garage that did the work was Egentons - from what I know it is probably one of the most well-respected indy mechanics in NJ, so I really hope (and believe) that they followed the procedure. That being said, you never know. But for the distance, I definitely would have taken it to Bruce at AudiConnection. I provided my guy with all the parts based on Bruce's list, including the friction pad and they didn't give me anything back when I picked it up :)!
I'm really hoping that something was undertorqued or a little loose, as opposed to one a bad bearing that would require a total teardown. If it was a bad oil pump or roller bearing, would the rattle still sound like it was coming from the top of the engine? In any event, I'm taking no chances - she's going in tomorrow for a check up. I'll let everyone know what happens.
