[V8] E-brake cable clips

Problem.  I can’t remove the old emergency brake cable clips that attach the front of the cable housings to the car.  I received some general pointers on how to replace the brake cables from an expert, but I cannot seem to get past this important task.  Could anyone recommend a tool or technique that would simplify the task somewhat?...It’s a tight space to work in, and I am not keen on removing things such as the driveshaft……..
