[V8] US Headlamps assembly: side marker cover re-gluing suggestions

I loaned the V8 to the house-mate since he needed a change from his 
4Runner and I was out of town anyway.
He's a long time typ-44 owner, but somehow managed to actually tear the 
side-marker lense clean off the right side headlamp.
Strange, but he called it a "crack in the lense".  I interpret the lense 
removed from the car and pieces missing as "broken"...  Isn't English fun!
Not a big deal at all and I have a used replacement, but what is 
everyone's suggestion for re-gluing?
It doesn't appear to be a clip-on sort of deal.

Also, I need to buy: used main driveshaft, or front CV on main driveshaft. 
 Anyone got laying around?
