[V8] re v8 problems

George,
I had one not too long ago that had a fire under it, in the same area.
Caused by oil on the cats. In that car's case, it was coming from the
distributor seals and the valve cover gaskets. There was also someone on the
list not too long ago that had a similar situation. His name is Joe
Griffith. check for other damage as well. On the car I worked on, the front
CV boot on the driveshaft was burned, as well as the selector cable and
various rubber mounts.
