[V8] Brake Rotors

... there is most definitely a minimum thickness requirement.  It is
completely possible to have nice, smooth looking rotors that are below
min thickness spec ... and if this is the case the rotors should be
replaced.  IME the rotors may have a ridge at the inner or outer limit
of the friction area.  

I haven't priced rotors lately, but I don't recall them being that
expensive ... the V8 does have vented rears, so perhaps they will be a
bit pricey.
