[V8] flickering lights, voltage regulator? SOLVED

Tonight, I went out and under, removed the belly pan and rear covers of the
alternator. Was looking for the obvious. The ground wire for the voltage
stabilizer was not tight. Not it. Removed the voltage regulator, noting that
it was not very snugged down. It looked relatively new as I had hoped since
the alt is a 2-year old rebuilt. Cleaned it and found a small bolt to
replace one of the screws with so I could be sure to get it snug since it's
the ground point for the VR and both damn screws are completely blocked by
other stuff. Anyway, with the VR clean and tight, the flickering is gone.
Thanks for all the input. That's what motivated me to just go in and see
what I would find.
Ed
