I think you're pulling our leg, but DME ~Digital Motronic Enginemanagement
is pretty standard 80's German (Porsche/Audi/BMW) car stuff.  A 2 function
relay providing power to the injection management computer system and
secondly to the fuel pump. (It's the tall one!) It's what shuts of the FP
when the engine stops running and vice versa.
