[V8] 17X7 Wheels vs. UFOs

... if you look at the profile of the UFO rotors you notice that they dish 
away from the hub just aoutside the center.  If the wheels do not have 
relief in this area the wheel will no be able to mate all the way up to the 
hub surface.  Those nice 5 spoke 16x7 A4/A8 wheels demonstrate this ...
