Very true. On most all the other V8's I've had/worked on, the voltage would
fluctuate and (if the clmate control is turned off -- ie. blower not drawing
power) the readout would be between 13.2-14 volts. Not so in my 5-speed.
It reads 12v regardless - whereas at the battery I'd show 13.9 to 14.3
volts.
