... if it squeaks when the HVAC is "OFF" then I agree.  One thing that I've found is that the grille on the top of the dash from where the air is drawn in can get clogged ... you might be able to quiet the motor a bit by scooping the accumulation out (I used a ball-tipped hex key myself).  When you have the dash cover off you can pull the panel that the motor is on and lube the bushings on the fan motor ... worked fine on #344 ...
