[V8] Wiper arm hits hood - solution

I found this problem frustrating but finally fixed it on my V8 by reading a post
by a 200 lister who had a similar problem.

If your V8's wiper arm hits the hood (passeneger side wiper arm), try to first
adjust it on the plastic locating clips the whole assembly is bolted on with
(you'll need to take off the wiper arms and rain cover to get to these bolts)
and check that the wiper arm spline is not damaged or worn. Also check that the
bonnet is aligned properly. If there is little or no change in the wiper arm
clearance after all that, it is most likely that the wiper arm itself has bent
with age. Fitted a new arm this weekend - the wiper now clears the hood
perfectly. The new arm cost about GBP 17 (very roughly US$35).
