[V8] V8Q Still no start

I replaced the RPM sensor and spark plugs yesterday with no change in the no
start condition on my Audi.

The engine cranks fine with a slightly different tone than normal,
compression is okay, low on one cyl, but okay on the others. The tach does
not bounce when cranking, and it is giving me the code for the RPM sensor.

The car was driven and parked, and then would not start after that.

What else should I check? I am thinking it could be fuel related, what's the
best way to diagnose the fuel pump and relays?
