There is a restrictor in the high pressure hose, if this restrictor is
not present (as with some rebuilt and some el-cheapo FLAPS hoses) you'll
get a very noticeable pulsation in the hose.  The pulsation is more
pronounced if your bomb is marginal.  This is NOT direct V8Q BTDT, but
5KS BTDT.  I recall at least 3 or 4 threads on this on the Qlist, should
be in the archives.
 
I also got a similar pulsation when I had a pronounced leak in the upper
hose of the 5KS, might be air trapped in the system.  If you haven't
already done it, do the lift front end and wheel stop to stop bleed to
see if it goes away.
