[V8] Carpet Pad Antifreeze Cleanup?

You may want to rethink that drier part - unless you are moving to a compact
car...

I am pretty sure the carpets are made of wool. A drier will shrink them beyond
usable if they are. Plus, the foam will come apart in the drier.

To clean, my trick has been to make up a bucket of soapy water, with the soap
being laundry detergent. I soak them good, brush with a hand brush, and then
hose off to rinse, and hang to dry.

I have NEVER done this with the Audi carpets though - only the synthetic stuff
in my Fords, and I do it to them all the time. In fact, I pull out the whole
carpet every couple of years for a solid cleaning.
