[V8] seals again

John,
There are three ways that I know of. Two pullers and drywall screws. One
puller is shaped sort of like a mini pick-axe, but thinner on the end. It
works pretty well for most seals. There is a screw in puller that looks a
lot like a "step-down" drill bit. It is sort of cone shaped and about 2" in
diameter. The drywall screw idea works, but you have to be VERY careful. If
you don't get them started carefully, you can push the seal in quite a bit.
If you don't center them into the seal area, you can mar the seal surface of
the crank, or the aluminum it goes into. I'd highly recomend the seal
puller. You can get the first one at nearly any parts store or sears.
The camshaft caps are the holders that the distributors go into. Not a bad
idea to replace them, and the distributor o-rings.
