[V8] sealant

I used some red Permetex stuff - it is often used to make valve cover and oil
pan gaskets and is not supposed to harden. Probably any silicone type stuff will
work. Just don't put too much on - and put it where it was already. I do not
understand your description of the parts, but the areas that take the sealant
have a groove just for it. I did not put sealant on the o-rings I replaced -
they should seal up just fine anyway.
The manual section on head rebuilding has all the info you need.
