[V8] 5000tq gearbox in a V8Q?

Interesting concept -- especially if you could use all the neuS4 linkage -- something I'd like to swap into my 5-speed since it linkage was crappy from day one...

All depends if you want to change the gearing.  Regular 200q (pre '91) and
5ktq will have wrong gearing.  You'll need something --5kq (non turbo) with
4.11 final drive.  Even then, you won't have one with a built-in trans fluid
pump... (in all likelyhood not a problem).

Which brings up something I  wouldn't mind considering:  6 speed from the
newer S4's (Not Euro nor UrS4).  Any BTDT?
