[V8] Oil Pan Gasket

I agree with the cleaning part - clean it up good so you can see the  
problem, and just to have a nice shiny motor ;-)

Before you get too carried away, you might just want to re-torque all  
437 bolts that hold the lower pan on. There is a good chance that  
will cure your problem - or at least get you to a slow drip. The  
gasket is easy to replace if needed too - just remove the  
aforementioned 8465 bolts and the pan comes right off. I would really  
suggest a torque wrench to put it back on though. The bolts are easy  
to strip out, and if they are over-tightened you will leak.
If your leak is on the right side, maybe you have a oil pressure  
sender leaking?
Also, a valve cover leak can be hard to spot if it is at the front  
right.

You need a torque whench that can do 7 lbs/ft. Probably a 1/4" drive  
unit.
