[V8] brake lines cracks

In the last month, I've had two rear rubber brake hoses fail, one on each
of our two V8s.  Brakes were fine before, suddenly got mushy and required
repeated pumping to keep good braking.  Both occurred within a couple miles
of home, so I wasn't stranded, but if it had happened on a trip, it would
have become an issue.  My new policy is replace rubber brake hoses every
three years regardless of how they look.
