[V8] idle/driveability problem solved

This is stupid but here is the end of the story.
Since a snapping sound could be heard I decided to remove the
distributor cap on the drivers side.The cap is just a few months
old.(replaced at TB time)
Did not see anything but I had enough frustration and went to the
dealer. Run into a good mechanic and he tells me he removed the cap and
it had a crack in it.
Charged me just 1 hr labor.So the stupidity is that I never removed the
black cover from the cap or else I would have noticed it myself .Drove
the car home, put in the old cap and voila ! I remember one of you
mentioned the exact same problem.
I am also very upset with Beru for putting out such piece of garbage.
Anyway the V8 lives on .for now and so do my nerves.
