[V8] The R8 super car

I haven't seen the newest TT "in the flesh" as yet, but unless it looks an
awfully lot better than the first version that looked like a 1947 vintage
Hoover vacuum cleaner without the wand and the bag, then I'll pass on that
one, too.
I like the lines of real cars, not things that look like mobile machine
bunkers with hunched over roofs and tiny windows. And it matters not a lot
who makes them.
Probably am showing my age. I like the idea of wide open windshields and
side windows that can actually be useful for seeing out. The Audi Q7 may
well be a great riding and handling car, but all that proves is that Audi
can make an overweight, oversized brick handle and ride very well. It will
still be long on bulk and short of both "sport" and "utility".

Roger,
To each his own, I guess. I wasn't a fan of the Q7 'til I saw it and rode
in it. The lines work a lot better than they look in a magazine. And the
handling? Simply amazing. I could go on, but it's a moot point to me as my
fundage wouldn't allow either. So I gather you don't like the lines of the
new tt, either? Roger, I think you're showing your age ;~)
Ingo (mit enough V8's right now)
