[V8] That timing belt saga

I've never done one, but I helped edit the KB how-to. Is there

I think that it would be an adjustable tensioner that is not 
fully released.  Barring that, is it the right belt? Is there 
a difference between the 3.6L and 4.2L belts? IIRC, some belts 
(maybe it's the 20V or 10V) that had an early 120-tooth belt, 
and a later 121-tooth belt, or something.  

Just thinking out loud. (Can you hear me now?)
