[V8] [front brake pads]

.. assuming that you've still got the UFOs ... they seem odd, but once you get in there and do it you'll find out it is rather simple ... First possible hang up is removing the screw that holds the rotor against the hub ... that one can be tough if the screw is "welded" in. You remove the pad that is sitting out in front of you and then snake the rotor off the hub and through the caliper to get at the other pad.  Push the piston back in (watching the fluid level in the Master Cylinder).  If the new pads have the wear sensors, route the wires around the way the old pads had them.  I've sometimes found it a little difficult to snake the rotor back over the new inner pad ... usually with aftermarket pads ... but once the rotor is back on and the outer pad installed you put the wheel back on and move to the other side ... 

If you don't have UFOs it is just like any other Audi with front disk brakes ...
