[V8] Well, it isn't leaking Coca Cola anyway . . .

My leak turned out to be either the lower sump (oil pan) gasket, or the oil
filter itself. I did a write-up that Scott posted here:

Unfortunately the picture links are broken; here are the correct ones:

Hope yours is as easy!
Cheers,
- Jeremy

Got a new leak, and it isn't Coca Cola.
Something is leaking merrily in the area of the oil cooler hose adapter
to the engine block (lower left front of engine, on the side).
The adapter is bolted to the block with six M8 by 40 hex screws, there
are three senders on it as well as the two oil cooler hoses. I've just
changed the O rings on the oil cooler hoses and that didn't slow down
the leak. The hoses are new, so that's not the problem either.
The senders are:
077 919 561 D, sender
028 919 081 D, switch
077 919 563 A, temp sender
There's also a "seal cap", # 077 115 422A
Gasket 077 115 427 E also needed, between block and adapter
This area is a *bitch* to get to - anyone have an idea of which of these
sensors falls into the "usual suspects" category, or do I have to rip
the SOB apart completely and change all of them (and guesses as to what
they cost?)
Best Regards,
