[V8] A new one? Well, maybe.....

The weather here in eastern Maine has returned to merely August.  We have warm, brilliantly sunny days and chilly nights.  It was in the upper forties outside my house this morning, and today it will be sunny, with temps reaching into the eighties.

I think it all has confused The Black Mariah.  

Suddenly, my outside temperature readout stays in the twenties to low thirties.  Apparently that is making it difficult for my air conditioning to decide that it can turn itself on.  Yesterday afternoon driving home, I had no air conditioning at all, although it was warm enough for the compressor to start.  

Question:  is the outside temperature readout linked to the a/c controller?  The A/c on this car is completely new, and works perfectly...except for this strange little glitch.
