Don't use the open end; that will bugger it.
Since you have want/have to replace it, cutting the wires should
be no big deal -- just cut them with enough slack to get a crimp
connector on them in case you can't remove it. :)
A six-point socket/wrench would be best. It may require a deep
socket; the O2 sensor sockets have worked for me (sometime needing
a hose clamp). I'd also let the PB Blaster do it's thing. Spray it
on once a day for a few days. Another tip - try turning the O2
sensor clockwise a bit, then back, working it back and forth. That
will also help the PB Blaster work its way in.
