Oh yeah, tried that torch, no avail. I have reason to believe the O2 has
had 16 years to become one with the collector. There is not enough room
to get an 02 socket on the sensor then attach the drive handle. I may go
the deep socket route if I can find a deep one shallower than the O2
socket, or may try one of those crow foot O2 sockets. One O2 socket I
have only cover 4 of the 6 corners and it will give before THIS O2 will
come out. Trying a better socket now with more soaking etc. Fingers
crossed

Small propane torch. That makes it so much easier, and chances of leaving
threads in the downpipe become much less. You want to heat the downpipe,
not
the O2. I usually leave it sitting under there for a minute or so. That
way,
it expands away from the O2 and it should come out fairly easily. They
have
for me, anyhow.
