Well it has gotten the better of me.  Bought a nice very long box end wrench 
of the proper size and preheated and further PB blasted the site.  No 
effect, put on the wrench and applied torque with a nice jack and lifted the 
car 1.5 inches up in its suspension travel and no budging! (in either 
direction) I'm taking it to the pros for a radiator flush tomorrow and see 
if they can have at it.  I would not be surprised to see it cut off and  new 
bung welded on as the most efficient means of R&R, especially if these tools 
are at your disposal.
