[V8] Speedo Problem

If all of the other dashboard functions are OK, I would guess the sender.
If there are other dashboard related gremlins, you might get away with reseating
the connectors or doing the cleaning procedure on them.

When my sender failed, it did the same thing yours is doing. It is probably
dropping to zero more than you realize too. If you check your mileage regularly,
and notice that it seems low, it might be because the odometer is not really
registering the actual miles traveled. It will get worse over time.
