[V8] The Black Mariah has returned...

...with new Stebro exhaust.  

I am very impressed with the new exhaust system.  The sound is a mellow
purrrr, and I got used to it quickly.  Not bad.

We went Downeast on Sunday, and did 200 miles.  Today I filled the tank
after 440 miles total, but an average of 24.9 miles per gallon.  That is the
best fuel mileage I have ever had from the venerable Audi 5 cylinder, ten OR
twenty-valve.  It will be very interesting to see what kind of mileage I get
when I go on a longer drive.  The best that I have ever done before is
around 23, and never in this car nor in my '89 10-valve Avant.

So, the Black Mariah will continue in service, and around 200,000 miles I
will make a decision about what to do with her...either part her out, donate
her to charity, or sell her for two schickels and a bagel....

In the meantime, I think I will start the hunt for a really nice, low
mileage 20-valve Avant....right!
