[V8] V8 Locks

It's a small town and everybody leaves their cars and doors unlocked.  
I'm a city boy and I couldn't believe it.  People here will leave their 
Ram's and F-150's dieseling out front for a good half hour while they're 
inside.  Also the car is out front of the store with the lights on and 
it'd be pretty obvious if it moved.

I wouldn't mind keeping a second key in the car, but I fear that if the 
locks were bypassed or left open, the car could be driven off WITH the 
key that's in the car.  I suppose I could hide it...

But has anyone had troubles w/ the doors locking or are they pretty 
fail-safe?
