[V8] interesting v8 FS....maybe

Well Allan was at my place today while I was doing the
T-belt to my..well Scotts Pearl V8..

..& may I say that,
 that Blk/Tav 92 4.2 V8 car is straight! The 73k it
"claims" to have..in my opinion is correct. We did
some looking round & some test driving ;->
& great power..tranny shifts smooth & were it should
in Sport/Economy/Manual modes. Everything works as it
should...just a great car for the $$$.

 Well looks like Jersey is famous for 2
things...Jersey girls ;->...& the Black V8 that got
away..LOL. Great buy Allan, & welcome back!!

NOW STAY AWAY FROM MY PARTS!!!!

As is ALWAYS the case, if something looks like it
might be too good to be
true, it probably is.

 

The seller told me that he had NO history on the car,
and NO service
records.  OK. I could live with that if the Carfax
checked the car out
without issue.

 

BUT.  There appear to be two owners.  OK. No big deal,
and certainly the car
looked good.

 

BUT, the "Brain Trust" told me that there was
information that the
instrument cluster had been replaced more than once,
AND the seller reported
instrument cluster problems..non-functioning
speedometer at least once.

 

OK.  I could live with that too.  To me the car could
be a $2500 V8.  Not a
lot more unless I could actually go and see it, which
I will NOT do for
something born and raised in New Jersey, and not being
sold through a real
dealer.  

 

Only if the color combination was perfect..so, I'll
pass.

 

Now, where is that "next" perfect 91 Avant......
