[V8] Wiring for radio-schematics and explination

Here goes:

(10P) Represents the 10 pin Red connector, (8P) Represents the 8 pin Black
connector

(8P) Red/Blue; Hot at all times, from fuse 4. For memory of stereo. Factory
stereo is constant, so to wire for ignition shut-off you have to add your
own wire.
(8P) Brown; Ground
(10P) Violet, Green and Yellow; Feed information to the instrument cluster
screen (autocheck system)
(8P) White; Power from the head unit for the speaker relay and (I think) to
power the autocheck radio display. It says to "instrument cluster system",
so this could also be used for the "radio on" buzzer in the
dash. On most aftermarket radio's, you will hook up the blue wire here.
(8P) Grey/Black; From instrument cluster lighting. I don't know of any
aftermarket radio's that use this (though it would be nice).
Brown/Grey; To anti-theft system
(10P) Blue; Speaker common
(10P) Black; Right front speaker signal
(10P) White; Right rear speaker signal
(10P) Grey; Left front speaker signal
(10P) Violet; Left rear speaker signal
There is also a White/Blue wire in the 8 pin connector, but I can't figure
out what it's for. It goes to a connection "welded, in harness" that appears
to come from the speedometer, or K1 on the instrument cluster. Can't tell
what that's for. Then again, this could also be the buzzer power wire.

Keep in mind the Speaker signals are unamplified in this setup, as each
factory Bose speaker has it's own amplifier. If you are running aftermarket
speakers, it would be highly recommended to also run new speaker wires to
each of the new speakers.

P.S. Someone with more computer knowledge than me might want to add this to
the KnowledgeBase.
