You beat me to it Ed!
I think we are getting the edge of your storm now. Yesterday we got a light
dusting that immediately turned to solid ice.
This morning we have about 4 inches of snow. You can feel the tension in the
other drivers.
Me? I just have a big grin on as I go about my day.
Seat heater on 2, CC on 71, use lower gears, hardly touch brakes.
No problems at all.
If I had to design the perfect snow car, it would have:
- climate control
- Nice V8 (OK if it uses a little oil :-)
- manual tranny with Torsen center and rear diffs
- four doors
- be Lago Blue with comfy heated leather seats
In other words, I have not yet found the car that will replace this one.
It performs so well no matter what the road conditions are. And I am giving some
thought to replacement. Not quite as much as Roger does :-) but I will probably
be done with the V8 in about 50K miles. It will be at 200K then, and I have had
it since 1999. Sooner or later I have to move on - right?
Merry Christmas to all
Dave
