[V8] Give me a brake

It seems that my hand brake needs some minor adjustment.  The red brake light 
on the dash comes on and off, and it's clear that the tension on the hand 
brake is a bit too tight.  When the light is off, I can *VERY* gently lift the 
hand brake lever ( a *TINY* amount) and the light will turn on dimly, then pull 
a bit harder and the light will get brighter.

Any suggestions as the where I can reduce some of the tension on the cable?
