I'm 99.99999% cartain it's the adjustment of the hand brake. It's always
been very tight (no play in the hand brake), such that the slightest pulling up
on the lever lets you feel tension -- and the light goes on as soon as you
begin pulling up. When the red light is off, you can pull up a very tiny amount
and the light starts to illuminate (flickers at times) and of course, if you
pull it up more, the light stays on solid (no flickering). The reason it dims
or flickers is that the switch is half on/half off (no-man's land).
I plan on seeing if I can adjust it in the cabin. Any suggesions as to how
to access the cable where it connects to the lever? (Is there an easy way to
pull up the between-seats console to expose this connection)?
Thanks,
Brad
