[V8] radio button spring problem

I remember making one out of a ball point pen spring many years ago.
As I recall, I cut out a few loops of the spring, streached it into a cone shape
and put it back where the rubber one was. It worked fine for years, then I sold
that car. I suspect I will have to do it again.
And - I also found that I could not buy any parts for the Audi radios. I wanted
a volume control and got the same story. On the bright side, I found that brake
cleaner fixed up my scratchy volume control just fine.
