Ah, apparently tires de-bead when they hit packed ice sideways at full throttle. Just a note. Of course, this problem may have been complicated by the no less than 7 gallons (yes, gallons) of water residing in my spare tire compartment - a nice find when we went to change the tire. Of course, since we were at Mount Washington, it was frozen. Spare tirecicle. Oh, the jack was frozen into it's compartment, too. And the CD player stopped recieving power at some point. Ah, the joys....
Good news, some compressed air (Thanks Tim O'neils guys) reseated the tire and I was ridiculously sideways once again in a matter of minutes (aided, no doubt, by ~60 lbs of ice over the rear wheels)
