[V8] Spring Question

Not that this answers your question, but when I installed the shocks and
H&R springs, we put it back the way it came out, and never aligned it at
all. Goes down the road nice and straight, and turns in like a champ.
Only thing is the slight negative camber, which I believe is to be
expected as it's outside the factory adjustment range.
There's a set of camber plates you can buy and install on top of the
shock towers to allow room to adjust back to 0 degrees or whatever it
is, but I wanted to benefit from the negative setup, and am willing to
forgo the couple-few thousand miles on tires to do so.
Anyway, I'd expect the alignment shop would have the specs -- and after
I replace the control arms and all that, I'll be there myself, and just
plan to have the tech set everything as close to stock as possible.
Check out AudiC... Er... GermanCarConnection.com for more info on the
camber plates.
