[V8] Door lock de-icing system not functioning.

... if it is very quiet where you are you may be able to hear the control module click as you pull on the door handle.  On my car you can hear the click almost immediately after pulling on the handle ... I suspect the 30 seconds allows time for the heat to do its job ...

I've never had to verify full operation of the function though ...
