[V8] Radiator Hose Question

Oil pressue at 2-3 bar at idle is normal.
5 bar accelerating or revs over 2,000 rpm is normal.
Oil thickness (viscosity) and temp will alter those a bit: 
Like 5 bar when COLD then 2-3 bar when warmed up.
Nothing to do with the crank case pressure.

You speak of excessive crankcase pressure.  Could this be why my oil
pressure gauge goes way past the 5-bar mark every time I'm on the
highway or step on the gas leaving a red light?  It's about 2.5-3 bar at
idle.  Been that way since I bought it.  Or does that not have anything
to do with it?
