[V8] driveability problem

There's been some list mail about a part of the transmission internal
hardware causing idle/stalling issues.  Also could be fluid level.  Then
there's the electrics.

You could start with the drain and refill with 4qts to get it some fresh
fluid.  This also ensures the fluid level is correct.  BTDT indicates that
it's okay to use synthetic mixed with whatever's in there now.  I mention
this in regard to the low temps your operating in since the synthetic might
help out with general operation as well.
