I second everything said here. I HAVE had a wheel failure. 300 miles on an
ADR rim and it and my precious V8 5 speed were destroyed. Ironic how this
thread popped up. My accident was over 3 years ago. TODAY was the first
day of the car back on the road. Not wanting to let the car down, I ran her
hard and long. 900 miles in 14 hours. Performed FLAWLESSLY!!! I am SO
glad to have the V8 back on the road. Well kinda. I am now going to park
it again. It needs a t-belt and I don't have time to do it until spring.
Oh well.
