No idea how well they would mix (I assume OK), but you have so much, why not
just drain and refill the tank 3 or 4 times? This is what I did and have been
fine.
I also put in a inline filter too. Now I don't have that black rubbery stuff in
it any more, and the screen in the tank stays clean.
I have been curious about the 16 too. In near zero weather, my steering is
sluggish for a few minutes. Not a big deal but the lighter stuff may be better
for the folks up north.
