[V8] Engine Speed Sensor

USB Ports only.  (printer, Monitor, and network)
 
Can the USB ports be configured?  When I first hooked it up it seemed to work better.  Now it seems if I unplug it and plug it back in it will work but then stops in the middle of reading the codes and says "interface not found"
 
I've tried to disable everything that's running but it's XP and I'm sure I'm missing something.
 
I'll play with it again today

Does that laptop have another way to connect like a paralell or serial port 
in back?

Those adaptors work pretty good.

I have to config the baud rate of the port down to something reduiculously 
slow like 8K or the like.

Audi bus slow.
