[V8] Re: trap links

I replaced the similar pieces on our 4kq last summer.  I measured the old
ones in place before removal and then tried to match the new ones up with
the old.  Seemed to work as the measurement installed was close.  No
unseemly tire wear in the several thousand miles driven since.
