[V8] Audi going up ski ramp

That's correct. I saw some time ago a behind the scenes of this ad (which is a recreation of a previous audi ad of a 100Q doing the same thing), and the insurance company for the ski ramp wouldn't have it any other way.  Both the original ad and the new one have the car equipped with spiked snows, iirc. 

The original was part of a series, which included one where some quattro model drives up a steep winding mountainside in the snow and ice, ending with a close-up of the quattro on bare rims. I dug that the most.

I'm not much at German.  Can someone confirm that the cable was actually not
for pulling but for safety and for lowering the vehicle after the ascent.
