[V8] Broken Turn Signals

... based on your statement I'm assuming that both left and right signals are dead, correct?  Have you tried the emergency flashers?  Have you tried setting off the alarm to see if all the lights flash?  By any chance, have you had a need for the emergency flashers recently?  I had some turn signal issues with one of my cars which turned out to be caused by the emergency flasher switch.

It is interesting to see how the wiring diagram shows the interconnections in the column switch module.  As I recall the column switch can be disassembled in two halves ... assuming that to be the case you may have an internal interconnection problem from the 53A pin which is probably on the wiper side, over to the turn signal side.
