[V8] Congrats Tim, and finally fixed the inop. windows/sunroof - surprise....

First off, congratulations to Tim!  
  
Second, as some of you know, I had intermittent windows and sunroof operation over the past few weeks.  It all came to a head (of course) this holiday weekend, when on one of the 90/90 days (90 degrees, 90 % humidity) the windows refused to go back up after going down.  This wasn't a huge problem over the weekend, as it was generally not raining here, but became a huge problem last night when thunderstorms rolled in.  So, after thoroughly embarassing both myself and the car with 5 trashbags and a good hunk of duct tape, I headed up to the mechanic, as I couldn't find any broken wires that would be the culprit.  Pulled in, and immediately he went - surprise - to the passenger side.  I figured we'd be pulling apart the door, but he suspected the relays.  So, checked the first one, and he made the apprpriate connection and zip - rear windows and passenger window went up.  Then he pulled the "comfort feature" fuse on the outside, grabbed a spare out of an A6, and whammo,
 everything worked.  Resoldered the board where it was broken, and I'm back in business - for the time being :-)
