This probably doesn't apply in your case since it occurred right after 
replacing the O2 sensor.

But, last month my V8 died because of the MAS sensor, and prior to that I was 
getting mileage readings similar to yours where it would oscillate between a 
low and high mileage readings. I think you can dump codes for that, since 
that is what the shop I brought it to did in order to track the problem down. 
The part isn't cheap it's $600 from the dealer.
